-222 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

The VB90222 is an AS568-222 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.484 in (37.69 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.762 in (44.75 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to many acids, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or hot water and steam call for a different compound.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, high-temperature process equipment, and semiconductor equipment.
