-223 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

The VB90223 is an AS568-223 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.609 in (40.87 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.887 in (47.93 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or hot water and steam are present.
