-240 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

The V90240 is an AS568-240 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.734 in (94.84 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.012 in (101.9 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.

Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, automotive fuel systems, and oil and gas.
