The VB90251 is an AS568-251 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.109 in (129.77 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.387 in (136.83 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or ketones and esters are present.
