Part number V90252 is an AS568-252 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.234 in (132.94 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.512 in (140 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or amines will shorten service life.
