-255 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

The V90255 is an AS568-255 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.609 in (142.47 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.887 in (149.53 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists many acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam are present.
