V90258 is an AS568-258 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.984 in (151.99 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.262 in (159.05 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The compound resists aggressive chemicals, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
