V90265 is an AS568-265 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.734 in (196.44 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.012 in (203.5 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists chlorinated solvents, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
