The VB90265 is an AS568-265 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.734 in (196.44 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.012 in (203.5 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
