-271 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-271 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A with an inside diameter of 9.234 in (234.54 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.512 in (241.6 mm), catalogued under part number V90271. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with ketones and esters or hot water and steam.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, semiconductor equipment, and chemical processing.
