-278 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

The VB90278 is an AS568-278 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 11.984 in (304.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.262 in (311.45 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in oil and gas, automotive fuel systems, and semiconductor equipment.
