The V90280 is an AS568-280 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 13.984 in (355.19 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.262 in (362.25 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is known for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against many acids, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
