Part number V90318 is an AS568-318 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.975 in (24.77 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.395 in (35.43 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. It resists aggressive chemicals, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
