-319 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

Ordered as VB90319, this is an AS568-319 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.037 in (26.34 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.457 in (37.01 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The compound resists chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
