-356 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-356 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 5.35 in (135.89 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.77 in (146.56 mm), catalogued under part number V90356. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Expect good resistance to many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or ketones and esters are present.
