This o-ring is supplied in AS568-372 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A with an inside diameter of 8.725 in (221.62 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.145 in (232.28 mm), catalogued under part number VB90372. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. Expect good resistance to many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.
