This o-ring is supplied in AS568-376 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A with an inside diameter of 9.725 in (247.02 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.145 in (257.68 mm), catalogued under part number V90376. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.
