APG stocks the V90387, an AS568-387 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 17.955 in (456.06 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 18.375 in (466.73 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

Typical settings include aerospace, automotive fuel systems, and oil and gas.
