VB90428 is an AS568-428 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.85 in (123.19 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.4 in (137.16 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) is valued for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
