-429 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

Part number VB90429 is an AS568-429 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.975 in (126.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.525 in (140.34 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or amines will shorten service life.

Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, chemical processing, and high-temperature process equipment.
