Part number V90435 is an AS568-435 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.725 in (145.42 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.275 in (159.39 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
