VB90438 is an AS568-438 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.225 in (158.12 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.775 in (172.09 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and chlorinated solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or amines.

It sees regular use in oil and gas, automotive fuel systems, and semiconductor equipment.
