-450 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-450 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 10.475 in (266.07 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.025 in (280.04 mm), catalogued under part number VB90450. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or ketones and esters call for a different compound.
