-456 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

APG stocks the V90456, an AS568-456 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 13.475 in (342.27 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.025 in (356.24 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The compound resists chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids.

Common environments for this compound include automotive fuel systems, oil and gas, and semiconductor equipment.
