Part number VB90460 is an AS568-460 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 15.475 in (393.07 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.025 in (407.04 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines are present.

Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, oil and gas, and chemical processing.
