The V90473 is an AS568-473 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 23.94 in (608.08 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 24.49 in (622.05 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists many acids, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines.

Typical settings include aerospace, oil and gas, and high-temperature process equipment.
