Ordered as VB90906, this is an AS568-906 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.468 in (11.89 mm), a cross section of 0.078 in (1.98 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.624 in (15.85 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or ketones and esters.
