V90928 is an AS568-928 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.09 in (53.09 mm), a cross section of 0.118 in (3 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.326 in (59.08 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, aerospace, and automotive fuel systems.
