This o-ring is supplied in AS568-020 blue Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 0.864 in (21.95 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.004 in (25.5 mm), catalogued under part number FS70020. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) is specified here for excellent ozone and UV stability, very wide service temperature range. This material stands up to ozone and weathering, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 350°F (176.7°C). Applications involving ketones or high-temperature dynamic service call for a different compound.
