Part number FS70037 is an AS568-037 blue Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.489 in (63.22 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.629 in (66.78 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists extreme cold, aromatic fuels and jet fuel, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) is widely chosen for good compression set resistance in static duty, excellent ozone and UV stability. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 350°F (176.7°C). It should not be specified for service in hydrazine or high-temperature dynamic service.
