FS70112 is an AS568-112 blue Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.487 in (12.37 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.693 in (17.6 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to extreme cold, aromatic fuels and jet fuel, and ozone and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) is specified for the standard choice for static aerospace fuel system seals, excellent ozone and UV stability. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 350°F (176.7°C). Applications involving ketones or high-temperature dynamic service call for a different compound.
