Ordered as FS70250, this is an AS568-250 blue Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.984 in (126.59 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.262 in (133.65 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to extreme cold, aromatic fuels and jet fuel, and petroleum oils. Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) is valued for silicone's low-temperature flexibility combined with fuel resistance, excellent ozone and UV stability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 350°F (176.7°C). It should not be specified for service in hydrazine or high-temperature dynamic service.

It sees regular use in high-altitude equipment, military ground vehicles, and aerospace and defense.
