FS70253 is an AS568-253 blue Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.359 in (136.12 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.637 in (143.18 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) is known for excellent ozone and UV stability, good compression set resistance in static duty. It resists petroleum oils, ozone and weathering, and extreme cold. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 350°F (176.7°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or brake fluids.

Typical settings include high-altitude equipment, military ground vehicles, and aerospace and defense.
