FS70382 is an AS568-382 blue Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 12.975 in (329.57 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.395 in (340.23 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) is specified here for silicone's low-temperature flexibility combined with fuel resistance, excellent ozone and UV stability. Expect good resistance to extreme cold, petroleum oils, and chlorinated solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 350°F (176.7°C). Applications involving brake fluids or hydrazine call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in high-altitude equipment, aerospace and defense, and military ground vehicles.
