*568-006 FLUOROSILICONE 70 DURO ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-006 blue Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 0.114 in (2.9 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.254 in (6.45 mm), catalogued under part number FS70006. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) is specified here for good compression set resistance in static duty and very wide service temperature range. This material stands up to extreme cold, ozone and weathering, and petroleum oils. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 350°F (176.7°C). Exposure to hydrazine or ketones will shorten service life.

Typical settings include military ground vehicles, aerospace and defense, and high-altitude equipment.
