This o-ring is supplied in AS568-034 blue Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 2.114 in (53.7 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.254 in (57.25 mm), catalogued under part number FS70034. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists aromatic fuels and jet fuel, petroleum oils, and extreme cold. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) is known for excellent ozone and UV stability, the standard choice for static aerospace fuel system seals. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 350°F (176.7°C). Exposure to hydrazine or high-temperature dynamic service will shorten service life.
