This o-ring is supplied in AS568-047 blue Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 4.489 in (114.02 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.629 in (117.58 mm), catalogued under part number FS70047. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) is specified here for good compression set resistance in static duty and very wide service temperature range. This material stands up to aromatic fuels and jet fuel, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 350°F (176.7°C).
