This o-ring is supplied in AS568-134 blue Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 1.862 in (47.29 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.068 in (52.53 mm), catalogued under part number FS70134. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists aromatic fuels and jet fuel, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils. Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) is widely chosen for silicone's low-temperature flexibility combined with fuel resistance and a very wide service temperature range. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 350°F (176.7°C). Exposure to ketones or brake fluids will shorten service life.
