The FS70142 is an AS568-142 blue Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.362 in (59.99 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.568 in (65.23 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) is specified here for excellent ozone and UV stability, standard choice for static aerospace fuel system seals. The material holds up against extreme cold, aromatic fuels and jet fuel, and chlorinated solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 350°F (176.7°C). It is not the right choice where brake fluids or ketones are present.
