The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) offers excellent ozone and UV stability, the standard choice for static aerospace fuel system seals. The compound resists petroleum oils, extreme cold, and chlorinated solvents.
