FS70222 is an AS568-222 blue Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.484 in (37.69 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.762 in (44.75 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) is specified for a very wide service temperature range and good compression set resistance in static duty. Expect good resistance to aromatic fuels and jet fuel, petroleum oils, and ozone and weathering. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 350°F (176.7°C). It should not be specified for service in high-temperature dynamic service or hydrazine.

Typical settings include military ground vehicles, high-altitude equipment, and aerospace and defense.
