The FS70231 is an AS568-231 blue Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.609 in (66.27 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.887 in (73.33 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists chlorinated solvents, aromatic fuels and jet fuel, and petroleum oils. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) is valued for silicone's low-temperature flexibility combined with fuel resistance, excellent ozone and UV stability.
