Ordered as FS70239, this is an AS568-239 blue Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.609 in (91.67 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.887 in (98.73 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) is specified here for silicone's low-temperature flexibility combined with fuel resistance, excellent ozone and UV stability. The compound resists petroleum oils, extreme cold, and chlorinated solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 350°F (176.7°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in ketones or high-temperature dynamic service.
