METRIC NITRILE V SEAL 14A (Type A)

APG stocks the FVB-0014-A, a Buna-N (Nitrile) Type A V-Ring Seal built to a nominal shaft size of 14A. A v-ring seal installs without tools and seals against the face of a housing or bearing.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The compound resists petroleum-based oils, greases and lubricants, and many alcohols. It is not the right choice where ketones or automotive brake fluid are present.
