METRIC NITRILE V SEAL 28A (Type A)

FVB-0028-A is a Buna-N (Nitrile) Type A V-Ring Seal supplied with a nominal shaft size of 28A. In service, this v-ring seal protects a main seal by keeping abrasive contamination away from the sealing lip.

The compound resists petroleum-based oils, propane and butane, and greases and lubricants. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or strong acids are present.
