METRIC NITRILE V SEAL 30S (Type S)

Ordered as FVB-0030-S, this is a Buna-N (Nitrile) Type S V-Ring Seal supplied with a nominal shaft size of 30S. The v-ring seal acts as a primary or secondary exclusion seal that flings dirt and water away as the shaft turns.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. The compound resists many alcohols, hydraulic fluids, and greases and lubricants. Applications involving ketones or automotive brake fluid call for a different compound.

Typical settings include fluid power, general industrial maintenance, and agricultural equipment.
