METRIC NITRILE V SEAL 38A (Type A)

APG stocks the FVB-0038-A, a Buna-N (Nitrile) Type A V-Ring Seal measuring a nominal shaft size of 38A. A v-ring seal installs without tools and seals against the face of a housing or bearing.

It resists water, hydraulic fluids, and many alcohols. Buna-N (Nitrile) offers low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Applications involving automotive brake fluid or strong acids call for a different compound.
