METRIC NITRILE V SEAL 40A (Type A)

Ordered as FVB-0040-A, this is a Buna-N (Nitrile) Type A V-Ring Seal supplied with a nominal shaft size of 40A. The v-ring seal stretches onto a shaft and seals axially against a counterface, shedding contamination by centrifugal action.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Expect good resistance to propane and butane, many alcohols, and petroleum-based oils. It is not the right choice where strong acids or polar solvents are present.

Typical settings include agricultural equipment, automotive, and general industrial maintenance.
