METRIC NITRILE V SEAL 45S (Type S)

FVB-0045-S is a Buna-N (Nitrile) Type S V-Ring Seal measuring a nominal shaft size of 45S. In service, this v-ring seal protects a main seal by keeping abrasive contamination away from the sealing lip.

Expect good resistance to petroleum-based oils, hydraulic fluids, and greases and lubricants. Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Exposure to automotive brake fluid or strong acids will shorten service life.
