METRIC NITRILE V SEAL 275A (Type A)

APG stocks the FVB-0275-A, a Buna-N (Nitrile) Type A V-Ring Seal built to a nominal shaft size of 275A. A v-ring seal acts as a primary or secondary exclusion seal that flings dirt and water away as the shaft turns.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. The material holds up against water, propane and butane, and petroleum-based oils. It is not the right choice where polar solvents or automotive brake fluid are present.

Typical settings include general industrial maintenance, fluid power, and automotive.
